larger image 		Stancor offers a variety of high temperature pumps for 140° - 190° F liquids. Different applications demand different types of pumps in order to assure reliable, trouble-free pumping.

For liquids up to 140° F, the SE-50 HT pump is a suitable selection. This model performs like a 1/3 HP pump, but offers a 1/2 HP motor thus providing a 1.40 service factor. Internal motor heat is reduced, which compensates for higher liquid temperature.

For liquid temperatures of up to 190° F, Stancor offers high temperature stainless steel pumps for water (SSS-HT models) and sewage and wastewater (SS-HT models). All stainless steel HT models provide a service factor of 1.40-1.45 and include critical materials of construction that allow for intermittent 190° water temperatures. These include special motor insulation, silicon-carbide mechanical seals, Viton® oil seals, o-rings, gaskets and PVC jacketed cable. Heat shrink Viton® sleeving is also available for added cable protection. For applications where longer pumping cycles are necessary (more than 10 minutes at a time), special heat transfer oil can be added in the motor chamber so as to dissipate internal heat from the motor more rapidly (available with SS-HT series pumps only).
